SCULPTURE

Am Afifi’s sculptures of the pleasurable aspects of life are balanced by his studies of the darker side of human nature.

His powerful 3-D imagery of the guiltless insanity, that so often grips the sanest of us, ranges from the subtle to the outright confrontational.

The ancient and exotic poetry of Rumi, Lalla and Omar Khayam resonate in the spirit of his work.

His workshops aim to empower others to enjoy sculpture and to produce their own work by demystifying it’s creative processes.
